• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Role: Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (Med/Surg Tele RN)
• Setting: General Medical/Surgical floor — post-op patients requiring overnight stays
• Location: Sioux City, Iowa (Zip: 51104) — Iowa nursing jobs / travel nurse position
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 27, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36 or 48 hours available
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Employment Type: Travel nurse / contract
• Electronic Medical Record: EPIC (experience preferred)

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (Medical-Surgical / Tele RN)
• At least 1 completed travel contract (travel nursing experience preferred)
• Active Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• EPIC experience preferred (electronic medical record proficiency)
• Must have taxable address outside 50 miles of the facility
• Not employed by UnityPoint within the last 12 months
• Valid Driver’s License
• Work history / resume, skills checklist (completed within 1 year), license verification, and copies of required certifications
• 1 supervisory reference

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for post-op and telemetry patients on a Medical-Surgical floor
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and assess changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, LPNs, and interdisciplinary teams to implement patient care plans
• Document patient information accurately and timely in EPIC EMR
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
• Participate in orientation, unit training, and maintain compliance with facility and regulatory standards
