Job Details
- Location: Green Bay, WI 54311 (Travel Nursing, Wisconsin nursing jobs)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 15, 2026)
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Monday – Friday
- Hours per Week: 40
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 – $2,230
- Setting: Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU & Maternity Center, Primary Stroke Center
- Unit: Main and East PACU (combined average 60–80 patients/day)
- Perioperative Unit Type: Phase I and Phase II PACU, post-anesthesia care, post-op recovery

Job Requirements (PACU RN Qualifications)
- At least 2 years of recent Phase I/Phase II PACU experience required — Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / perioperative nursing experience required
- Active RN license (state licensure required)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- CAPA or CPAN certification (either accepted)
- Experience with post-cath, bronchoscopies, and IR patients highly preferred
- Proficiency reading/interpreting cardiac rhythms and managing cardiac drips/gtts
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking, patient assessment, and perioperative teamwork skills
Responsibilities (PACU RN Duties)
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for pediatric and adult patients in Phase I and Phase II PACU settings
- Monitor and recover patients post-surgery across specialties: general, plastics, urology, GI, bariatrics, GYN, neurosurgery, robotics, ortho, cardiothoracic, ENT, and more
- Perform post-anesthesia assessments, pain management, airway support, and urgent interventions as needed
- Read and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage cardiac drips, and provide clear discharge instructions
- Float between Main and East PACU to support variable patient volumes (60–80 patients/day combined)
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, CRNAs, surgeons, hospitalists, and the multidisciplinary perioperative team
- Assist with intubated patients and support critical care needs when required
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR
- Support a team-oriented environment and contribute to quality, safety, and patient satisfaction initiatives
