• Shift: Days, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,050 – $2,160
• Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics
• Weekend Coverage: Required
• Orientation: 24 hours

Job Requirements (PCU RN / Step-Down Nurse)

• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/Step-Down RN experience — telemetry and post-surgical experience preferred
• Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at submission)
• Graduation from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS (current)
• Clinical skills: blood product administration, central/PICC line care, telemetry monitoring, wound care, post-surgical patient management
• Ability to float to other units as needed (flexible travel nurse)
• Two professional references (at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership role)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)

Responsibilities (PCU RN / Telemetry Nurse)

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to post-surgical and general medicine patients in a progressive care (step-down) environment
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and manage dysrhythmias — core telemetry nurse responsibilities
• Administer medications and blood products; manage IVs, central/PICC lines, and surgical drains
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV therapy, respiratory, physical therapy, pharmacy, and social services
• Implement isolation precautions and infection control protocols
• Participate in rapid response and code teams as needed
• Provide patient and family education and support related to post-surgical recovery and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record
