- Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 06:30)

- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,160 - $2,270
- Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
- Setting: Level 1 Trauma, 18-bed Operating Room
Required Qualifications (OR RN / Perioperative Nurse)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN or perioperative nursing experience (preferred Level I Trauma experience)
- Active RN license (compact license accepted; Ohio state license required at submission)
- Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- BLS and NIHSS certifications required
- Epic charting experience preferred (electronic health record / EHR experience)
- Ability to float to different units as needed within the organization
- Completion of Ohio fingerprinting promptly upon contract signing
- Two professional references required (one from a manager, director, or formal leader)
- Seasonal influenza (flu) vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care across a broad range of surgical specialties: general, trauma, orthopedic, neurosurgery, transplant, plastics, ENT, GYN, urology, and robotic surgery
- Function as an OR RN / surgical nurse during pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perioperative team members, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation using Epic and other EHR systems
- Participate in scheduled call coverage (Mon–Fri 21:00–06:30; Sat/Sun 12-hour shifts) and float to other units as required
- Adhere to hospital policies, regulatory compliance, and infection control standards in a Level 1 Trauma environment
- Educate and support patients and families through the surgical process as a perioperative nurse and patient advocate
