• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: June 7, 2026
• Shifts: Rotating Day (07:00 – 19:30) and Night (19:00 – 07:30), 3x12-hour shifts/week
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,050 – $2,160
• Setting: Neuro Intensive Care Unit (Neuro ICU) – critical care nursing job

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recent ICU experience (Neuro ICU preferred); critical care RN experience required
• Travel nursing experience required (prior travel RN assignments preferred)
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license — compact or Ohio state license in hand at time of submission
• Graduated from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Ability to float to other units within the organization as needed
• Two professional references required (one must be from a manager/director or formal leadership)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive critical care to adult neurological patients, including ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, seizures, neuromuscular disorders, and post-operative neurosurgery cases
• Manage advanced Neuro ICU equipment and monitoring: EVDs, ICP monitoring, continuous neuro checks
• Deliver ventilator management, arterial and central line care, and bedside procedures per unit protocols
• Administer emergency medications, titrate vasoactive and cardiac drips, and identify/interpret dysrhythmias
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams (Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Radiology, Social Services, Neurosurgery, Neurology)
• Adhere to infection prevention protocols, isolation precautions, and unit safety standards
• Participate in self-scheduling, provide weekend coverage as required, and float to support other units when needed
