Job Details – Travel RN / Neuro ICU

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,050 – $2,160
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: June 7, 2026
• End Date: September 6, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (Day: 07:00–19:00, Night: 19:00–07:03), 3 shifts per week
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel

Job Requirements – Neuro ICU RN / Critical Care RN

• Minimum 2 years of recent Neuro ICU experience (neurocritical care experience required)
• Travel nursing experience required
• Valid RN license: compact or Ohio state license in hand at time of submission (Ohio nursing license preferred)
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Ability to float to different units within the organization as needed
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership; Charge RN acceptable for second reference)

Core Responsibilities – Neuro ICU Travel RN

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to adult patients with complex neurological conditions: ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, neuromuscular disease, post-op neurosurgery, and traumatic brain injury
• Manage and monitor invasive neuromonitoring devices (EVD, ICP monitoring), continuous EEG monitoring, and other neurocritical care technologies
• Care for mechanically ventilated patients and manage ventilator settings collaboratively with RT
• Administer emergency medications, blood products, and continuous IV sedation; titrate vasoactive drips and follow IV insulin protocols
• Perform and assist with bedside procedures such as tracheostomy care, PEG management, central and arterial line care
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and titrate cardiac medications per protocol
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
• Maintain infection prevention standards and isolation precautions in accordance with hospital policy
• Participate in self-scheduling, weekend coverage, and unit-based staffing needs as required
