• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
• Location: Edmonds, WA (Zip: 98026) — Seattle metro area travel nursing job
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
• Shift: Day shifts, 3x12-hour (07:00 - 19:30), Monday–Friday
• Hours per Week: 36
• Call Requirement: Approximately 48–56 hours per 6-week schedule
• Setting: Community hospital with 8 operating rooms; ~40% inpatient, 60% ambulatory/outpatient

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in applicable state (or compact privilege as required)
• Minimum 2 years recent Operating Room RN / perioperative nursing experience
• Hands-on experience with Ortho and Spine procedures (required)
• Experience using Epic EMR / Epic charting system (required)
• Current BLS (required); ACLS preferred
• Comfort circulating for ENT, General Surgery, Total Joints, Neuro/Spine, OB/GYN, Plastics, and Pre/Post-op care
• Ability to scrub Vascular cases preferred
• Experience caring for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• First-time travel nurses encouraged to apply
• Note: Previous permanent staff at Swedish Medical Center are not eligible for this travel position.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative and intraoperative nursing care across a variety of surgical specialties including Ortho, Spine, Vascular, ENT, General Surgery, and GYN
• Circulate and scrub as needed; assist with instrument handling, sterile technique, and OR safety
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Epic (Epic EMR)
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotation and adhere to hospital call expectations
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in both inpatient and ambulatory/outpatient settings
