Job Details

• Job Title: Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) / Critical Care Nurse
• Location: Sioux City, IA 51104 (Sioux City, Iowa)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) — critical care / acute care
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel / Travel Nursing Job
• Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years ICU nursing experience as an ICU RN or critical care nurse
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license — Iowa or Compact Nursing License accepted
• BLS (AHA) certification
• ACLS (AHA) certification
• CPI (or de-escalation) certification
• First-time travel nurses encouraged to apply

Preferred/Included Qualifications

• PALS (AHA) certification
• TNCC certification
• Driver’s license

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU as a Travel ICU Nurse
• Monitor patient status, hemodynamics, and ventilator settings; respond promptly to changes in condition
• Administer medications, IV drips, and advanced interventions per provider orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy) to develop and implement patient care plans
• Perform critical care procedures and assessments consistent with ICU RN scope of practice
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation using EPIC EMR
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed and participate in orientation and ongoing training
