- Employment Type: Travel Contract (MRI technologist travel job)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (18:00–06:30), Wednesday/Thursday/Friday (night shift MRI technologist)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours per Week: 36
- Start Date: April 26, 2026
- Floating: Will float between Bell and Cambridge radiology locations
Qualifications & Certifications
- Minimum 1 year MRI technologist experience in a hospital setting (preferred 2+ years)
- Minimum 1 year of travel MRI experience required
- Prior scanning experience with implanted devices (MR conditional/contraindicated screening)
- Strong hands-on experience with Phillips Achieva equipment; experience with Siemens 1.5T Sola a plus
- Certification: ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) required
- Current BLS (American Heart Association preferred)
- Nicotine-free facility — must comply with facility policies
- Ability to attend a 2-day orientation during the first week (Monday & Tuesday)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans for a diverse inpatient and outpatient hospital population, including patients with implanted devices
- Operate and optimize MRI systems, including Phillips Achieva and Siemens 1.5T Sola; use Cerner, Unity PACS, and Inteview PACS for image management
- Ensure patient safety, screening, and comfort while following MR safety protocols and hospital policies
- Float between Bell and Cambridge radiology units as needed to support workflow and staffing
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and multidisciplinary hospital staff to maintain efficient department operations
- Maintain documentation, adhere to compliance requirements, and contribute to quality assurance initiatives
