• Role: Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN), Night Shift
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: May 11, 2026
• End Date: August 10, 2026
• Setting: Acute Care – Labor & Delivery Unit (Maternity/Nursery)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 – 07:30); 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,540 – $2,670
• Charting System: EPIC (Electronic Health Record)

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (state of Washington or compact RN license accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience — OB nursing or maternity nursing background preferred
• BLS (AHA) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications
• STABLE certification preferred
• Ability to float as a sitter or helper as needed (no patient assignments outside L&D)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers, delivering mothers, and newborns as a Labor & Delivery nurse
• Monitor fetal and maternal well-being using advanced fetal monitoring techniques and AWHONN best practices
• Assist with deliveries, immediate postpartum care, and newborn stabilization (neonatal care support)
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, neonatal team, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient education using EPIC
• Maintain a safe, compassionate, and family-centered environment for patients and families
