Travel MRI Technologist needed in Bridgeport, WV — 13-week outpatient MRI travel assignment in North Central West Virginia. ARRT-certified MRI technologists with outpatient or hospital radiology experience are encouraged to apply. Monday–Friday schedule, no weekends or call required.

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 - $2,270
• Location: Bridgeport, West Virginia — Outpatient setting within hospital (North Central West Virginia)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 4, 2026 – July 4, 2026)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift/On-call: No weekends, no holidays, no call or standby required
• Dress Code: Navy scrubs

Job Requirements (MRI Technologist Qualifications)

• Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience in outpatient or hospital imaging
• Active ARRT certification (ARRT – Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
• Valid West Virginia radiology licensure
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• Proficiency with Epic EMR and Synapse PACS
• Experience with MRI suites and equipment (including U-arm systems) and basic X-ray

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams and basic X-ray imaging in an outpatient hospital setting with attention to image quality and patient safety
• Conduct pre-op testing, obtain EKGs, and start IVs for contrast administration as needed
• Operate and troubleshoot department-specific equipment, including U-arm systems and standard MRI scanners
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic and Synapse PACS
• Collaborate with the radiology team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality clinical imaging
• Follow department protocols, infection control procedures, and MRI safety standards
