• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,540 – $2,670
• Location: Peoria, IL 61637 — Peoria, Illinois; Central Illinois nursing jobs and travel RN opportunity
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 27, 2026)
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 Hour Any; call on weekends and nights
• Setting: Acute care, Cardiac Cath Lab / interventional cardiology
• Orientation: 2–3 shifts (scrubs provided)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active RN license in Illinois (or verification that Illinois application has been initiated)
• Minimum 1 year recent Cath Lab RN experience — experience as a cardiac catheterization nurse or interventional cardiology nurse preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
• Ability to read cardiac strips and titrate drips
• Experience with EPIC electronic charting system
• Negative drug screen required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a busy Cardiac Cath Lab (6 suites/labs) — clinical responsibilities typical of Cath Lab RN and interventional cardiology roles
• Assist with a broad case mix including STEMI, NSTEMI, heart failure interventions, congenital procedures, TAVR, MitraClip, and peripheral vascular procedures
• Work collaboratively with registered technologists (RTRs), cardiologists, and multidisciplinary teams; cardiology team on call 24/7
• Participate in call rotation: ~6–8 call shifts per month (weeknights and weekends included)
• Serve as circulator for emergent cases during backup call shifts and provide charge nurse coordination when on call
• Utilize GE and Philips monitors and McKesson equipment; maintain accurate EPIC documentation
