• Job Title: PCU Registered Nurse (RN) / Telemetry Nurse – Travel RN
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Shift: 12-hour Nights (every other weekend required; first to float; up to 2 extra mandatory shifts per 6 weeks)
• Care Setting: Acute care — Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Telemetry / Stepdown
• Charting System: EPIC

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of PCU / Telemetry RN experience (telemetry nurse experience preferred)
• Active RN license in good standing (state license)
• BLS (AHA or ARC)
• ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• NIHSS certification
• Experience with post?Cath Lab patients preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to PCU/stepdown and telemetry patients, including post?Cath Lab cases
• Perform continuous cardiac monitoring and respond to telemetry changes
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for acute care and stepdown patients
• Float to Med?Surg or ICU (PCU patient status only) as needed and support unit staffing requirements
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (physicians, case management, respiratory therapy) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Follow hospital policies, safety protocols, and discharge planning processes; meet weekend and floating requirements
