Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience — experience with GE MRI equipment required
• Valid ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT certification
• BLS (AHA) certification
• Competent in IV start/IV placement for contrast-enhanced MRI exams
• Familiarity with Epic and McKesson PACS for image access and charting
• Must pass a negative drug screen for all panels (Drug-Free Campus)
• Willing to complete department-specific orientation and hospital compliance training

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations using GE 1.5T Artist equipment with attention to image quality and patient care
• Prepare patients, start IVs when required, and monitor patient safety during imaging procedures
• Accurately document and chart patient information, protocols, and imaging results in Epic
• Work collaboratively with radiologists, tech assistants, and multidisciplinary hospital staff
• Follow radiation safety, infection control, and hospital policies to maintain a safe imaging environment
• Participate in quality assurance, troubleshooting, and routine MRI equipment checks
