• Unit: Women & Children's (Primarily Labor & Delivery, Level I-II Obstetric Services)
• Start Date: June 1, 2026
• End Date: August 29, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks (short-term travel assignment)
• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), 36 hours/week, every other weekend
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360 – $2,480 (competitive weekly pay for travel nurses)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year recent Labor & Delivery experience (obstetric nursing, perinatal nursing)
• Fetal Monitoring Certification (electronic fetal monitoring)
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• NRP certification (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Experience with clinical systems preferred: Obix, Athena, Meditech, OR Manager, Anesthesia Manager, Pisces

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care to patients in a Level I–II obstetric setting
• Deliver Level I nursery care, perform labor/antepartum triage, and monitor fetal status
• Serve as RN circulator and PACU nurse for cesarean sections (C-sections)
• Care for GYN post-op patients and low-acuity pediatric patients as needed
• Support lactation, provide patient education, and promote postpartum recovery
• Document patient care using hospital electronic health record systems and communicate clearly with providers and the multidisciplinary team
