Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) – 13-week contract in Bennington, VT. Nights, Level I-II obstetrics and Level I nursery in a small, supportive Women & Children's Unit. Great Vermont nursing job in the scenic Green Mountains and New England region.

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360 - $2,480 (travel nursing job)
• Location: Bennington, VT 05201 — Vermont nursing jobs / New England travel nursing
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (July 6, 2026 – October 3, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 36 hours per week, every other weekend
• Setting: Women & Children's Unit (primarily Labor & Delivery, Level I-II obstetrics, Level I nursery)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (L&D RN or obstetrics nurse)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (compact license accepted where applicable)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Fetal monitoring certification / Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
• Proficiency with Obix, Athena, Meditech, OR Manager, Anesthesia Manager, and Pisces (experience with EMR and OB documentation preferred)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and Level I nursery infants.
• Perform labor and antepartum triage and assess maternal-fetal status using fetal monitoring (EFM).
• Serve as RN circulator and PACU nurse during cesarean sections; assist in perioperative care.
• Deliver GYN post-op care, lactation support, and patient education for new mothers.
• Care for low-acuity pediatric patients as needed and coordinate neonatal care per unit protocols.
• Document patient care accurately in Obix, Athena, Meditech, and other unit systems; maintain clear handoffs.
