Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) travel contract in Waterloo, IA (50703) — ARRT, BLS, and 2+ years hospital X?Ray experience required. 13-week travel assignment (May 18 – Aug 17, 2026) working nights across outpatient, inpatient, ER, and surgical settings.

Job Details – Travel Radiology Technologist / X-Ray Tech

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,010 – $2,160
• Location: Waterloo, IA (50703) — Iowa radiology jobs / travel rad tech jobs
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 17, 2026)
• Shift: Nights, 7 on/7 off (Wed–Tue); Weekday hours: 1:30pm–11:00pm; Weekend hours: 11:30am–10:00pm (night shift rad tech); Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts
• Hours: 65 hours bi-weekly (alternating 37 and 28 hours per week)
• Healthcare Settings: Outpatient, Inpatient, Emergency Department, Surgery
• Equipment: Siemens x-ray (rooms/portables), GE C-arm (surgery) — experience with Siemens and GE preferred
• Holiday Rotation: Required

Job Requirements – Radiologic Technologist

• Minimum 2 years (24 months) recent hospital X-Ray experience (radiology technologist / x-ray tech)
• Experience with Siemens x-ray equipment and GE C-arm in surgery
• Clinical experience across outpatient, inpatient, ER, and surgical departments
• EPIC EMR experience required (electronic medical record proficiency)
• Active Iowa Radiology license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• ARRT certification (registered radiologic technologist)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Valid Driver's License
• Completed skills checklist for Radiologic Tech/X-Ray
• Professional reference from a supervisor/manager within the last 24 months preferred

Responsibilities – Travel Rad Tech / Radiographer

• Perform quality radiologic imaging procedures for outpatient, inpatient, ER, and surgical patients
• Operate Siemens x-ray units and GE C-arm safely and efficiently
• Transport ER patients and assist with outpatient arrivals and discharges
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
• Participate in scheduled holiday rotations and adhere to night shift protocols
• Follow hospital policies, radiation safety standards, and infection control procedures
