Travel Interventional Radiology RN – Rockford, IL | 13-week contract. Seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN) or Radiology Nurse for 10-hour evening shifts in an acute care radiology unit. Join our travel nursing team and expand your interventional radiology and acute care skills while enjoying Rockford, Illinois. Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,500 - $2,630
Location: Rockford, IL 61108 (Rockford, Illinois travel nursing opportunity)
Setting: Acute Care – Interventional Radiology / Radiology Unit
Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 27, 2026)
Shift: 10-hour evening shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Requirements / Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois or willingness to obtain (Illinois nursing jobs / travel RN applicants welcome)
BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
ARRT Certification preferred
Minimum 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology or acute care nursing (IR RN / Radiology Nurse experience)
Ability to work in a drug-free campus environment
Familiarity with EPIC electronic charting system preferred

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures (pre-, intra-, and post-procedure)
Monitor patient status and vital signs during procedures and recovery
Assist physicians and radiology staff with patient preparation, positioning, and procedural support
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EPIC and other clinical records
Maintain a safe, compliant, and sterile work environment in the IR suite
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and patient throughput
