• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,120 – $1,200
• Location: Lone Tree, CO 80124 (Denver metro / Colorado travel healthcare)
• Setting: Main OR – Spine, Hip, and Joint Preservation Center (Orthopedic OR / Spine Surgery)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel Surgical Tech / Travel healthcare

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year recent OR experience as a Surgical Technologist or Operating Room Technician (Surgical Tech travel jobs preferred)
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or ORT certification required
• Proven scrub experience on spine and joint cases (spine fusion, ALIF, total joint replacements)
• Perioperative skills: sterile technique, instrument handling, OR setup, and turnover
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced orthopedic operating room
• General surgery scrub experience preferred; experience with Meditech EMR or similar documentation systems a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during advanced orthopedic and spine procedures including spine fusions, ALIFs, and total joint replacements
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields and ensure proper sterile technique throughout cases
• Handle, pass, and account for surgical instruments and implants with precision
• Collaborate closely with RNs, unit secretaries, surgical tech team members, and other perioperative staff
• Participate in call rotation as required (weekends and evenings) for OR coverage
• Maintain accurate case documentation and charting using Meditech EMR (perioperative documentation)
