• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 – $1,770 (Competitive travel RN pay)
• Location: Washington, North Carolina (Zip: 27889) – Washington, NC travel nursing job
• Setting: Surgical Unit – Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) RN role
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: April 20, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour days (07:00 – 19:30), 3 shifts per week, 36 hours/week

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact State (Medical-Surgical RN / Registered Nurse)
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• EPIC charting experience preferred (EPIC experience highly desirable)
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Must comply with 80-mile local radius rule
• Phone or virtual interview required

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care to medical-surgical and post-operative patients on the Surgical Unit
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for Med/Surg patients
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient information accurately using EPIC electronic health record (EPIC charting)
• Provide patient education, discharge teaching, and support to patients and their families
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant working environment in line with facility policies
