Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Position: ER Registered Nurse / Urgent Care Nurse (Travel RN, On-Site)
• Location: Dunkirk, NY 14048 (Chautauqua County, near Lake Erie)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 5, 2026 – July 5, 2026)
• Shift: 8-hour days (9:30am – 6:00pm)
• Schedule: 3 days per week with opportunities to pick up additional shifts
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel RN (urgent care, ED experience valued)

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year recent experience in Emergency Department (ED) or Urgent Care (ED experience preferred)
• EPIC electronic medical record (EPIC EMR) experience within the last year is required
• Ability to work within a 50-mile radius of Dunkirk, NY
• Strong clinical assessment, triage skills, and clear communication with patients and interdisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in an urgent care / ER setting, delivering timely assessment and treatment
• Perform triage, assessment, and treatment for a wide range of acute and non-acute conditions
• Document patient encounters and manage care using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, care plans, and health maintenance
• Maintain compliance with clinical protocols, infection control, and safety standards
