Job Details – Travel Nursing / OR RN

• Location: Columbus, Ohio (43210) — Columbus nursing jobs, Ohio travel nurse opportunity
• Assignment Type: Travel Nurse / On-Site Operating Room RN
• Duration: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 17, 2026)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,280 – $2,400 (competitive travel RN pay)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shift Duration: 10 Hour Any
• Shift: Variable shifts available: Day (4x10-hour, 06:30–17:00) and Night (3x12-hour, 19:00–06:30); may include 8s, 10s, or 12s. Call required (M–F 21:00–06:30; Sat/Sun 06:30–19:00 & 19:00–06:30). Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs.
• Unit: 18-bed Level 1 Trauma Operating Room — high-acuity perioperative environment

Job Requirements – OR Nurse / Perioperative Nurse

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (OR nurse, perioperative nurse)
• Experience in Level 1 Trauma Centers preferred (trauma OR experience a plus)
• Active Registered Nurse license (compact or Ohio state RN)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• NIHSS certification
• EPIC charting experience required
• Graduated from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Two professional references (at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership role)

Responsibilities – Operating Room Registered Nurse

• Provide high-quality perioperative care for a wide variety of surgical procedures including General, Robotic, Laparoscopic, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant surgeries
• Circulate in the OR with emphasis on Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery cases (OR circulating nurse duties)
• Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC and follow perioperative documentation standards
• Participate in call rotation and provide coverage as needed, including holidays and weekends
• Float to different units within the organization as required to support patient care
