Job Requirements

• Minimum 4 years Med/Surg and Telemetry experience (Med/Surg RN, Telemetry skills)
• Skilled in reading monitors, managing cardiac drips, and caring for post-surgical cases
• Experience providing care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
• BLS/CPR (AHA) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• ACLS (AHA) certification required
• Must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated per facility policy

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and deliver professional nursing care to Med/Surg and Telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac drips, telemetry, and post-surgical patients to ensure safe outcomes
• Maintain standards of professional nursing practice and follow hospital policies
• Supervise and collaborate with CNA/SNA and other healthcare team members as assigned
• Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients and document care accurately in the EHR
