As a Rehab Registered Nurse (RN) on a travel assignment, you'll provide skilled rehabilitation nursing care in a modern, well-equipped 15-bed unit. • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570 - $1,650
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Travel RN assignment)

• Shift: 12-hour days (07:00-19:00)

• Setting: Inpatient Rehab Facility (15 beds) — rehabilitation nursing, post-acute care

Qualifications & Certifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Minimum 1 year RN experience; inpatient rehab experience preferred (rehabilitation nursing)
• Proficiency with EMR systems such as Meditech; experience with Pyxis a plus
• Transfer training and safe patient handling (Hoyer lift, sliding boards)
• Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical initiative — ideal for travel nursing roles

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled patient care in a 15-bed inpatient rehab unit as a Rehab RN
• Perform safe patient transfers using equipment (Hoyer lift, sliding boards) and follow transfer protocols
• Conduct bladder scans, dressing changes, wound care, and medication administration
• Document rehabilitation scoring and patient progress in the EMR (rehab assessments)
• Participate in bedside report, hourly rounding, and ensure bed alarm activation for patient safety
• Float to Med-Surg, Telemetry, Renal, Urology, Orthopedics, and Overflow Units as needed (excluding ICU)
