- Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (Telemetry / Oncology) – Nights
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 – $1,890
- Location: Cincinnati, OH 45255 — Cincinnati travel nurse / Cincinnati nursing jobs
- Unit: C3 MS/Oncology (Telemetry / Cardiac Telemetry)
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Hours per Week: 36
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (04/20/2026 – 07/18/2026)
- Schedule: Every other holiday and weekend
- Type: Travel Nurse (Locals not accepted) — Ohio travel nurse
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Current RN license in Ohio or multistate compact RN license (required)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – must obtain prior to direct patient care
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – preferred
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience (required); 6 months acute care hospital experience preferred
- Oncology experience preferred (MS/Oncology unit experience is a plus)
- Dysrhythmia exam required (study guide available) — important for telemetry nurses
- EPIC EHR training preferred
- Critical Care Course preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized care plans for telemetry and oncology patients
- Provide continuous cardiac telemetry monitoring and interpret dysrhythmias; respond to telemetry alarms and emergent changes
- Administer medications safely and in accordance with hospital policies and oncology protocols
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care and communicate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff
- Act as a patient safety advocate and participate in quality improvement initiatives for telemetry and oncology care
- Manage patients with multi-system organ involvement and complex oncologic needs
- Provide patient and family education and psychosocial support specific to oncology and telemetry care
- Perform hemodynamic monitoring, assist with advanced respiratory modalities, and manage chest tubes as needed
- Respond confidently to rapidly changing patient conditions and emergencies in a fast-paced telemetry environment
- Apply cultural competency and inclusion principles in delivering patient-centered care
- Maintain professionalism, accountability, and resilience as a member of the travel nursing team
