• Facility: 22-bed Critical Access Hospital
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 6, 2026)
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (6:30pm – 7:00am), 3 nights per week
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel RN

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience required (Med-Surg RN / Medical-Surgical Nurse)
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical documentation skills
• Experience with adult medical-surgical patient populations preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care for assigned adult med/surg patients
• Conduct nursing assessments, medication administration, wound care, and ongoing patient monitoring
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health record and uphold hospital standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, therapists, case managers) to coordinate patient care
• Supervise and support LPNs, nursing assistants (NAs), and other RNs when assigned as charge nurse
• Participate in quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and ongoing professional development
