• Setting: Mixed Acuity PCU / MS Tele unit (Medical Surgical Oncology)
• Contract Length: 16 weeks (Start: 6/29/2026 – End: 10/19/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 – 07:30), 3 shifts per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 – $2,040
• Hours per Week: 36
• Type: Travel Contract / Travel nursing job

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of current Med/Surg or Oncology RN experience within the last 3 years
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred (Epic experience a plus for clinical nursing roles)
• Ability to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
• 2 professional references required (at least 1 from a manager/director or formal leader)
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly upon contract signing
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• Oncology experience preferred but not required (Oncology RN preferred)

Clinical Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to a diverse population of oncology and medical-surgical patients in a 48-bed mixed acuity unit
• Monitor and manage patients with a variety of diagnoses, including solid tumors and hematologic cancers
• Utilize specialized equipment such as GE telemetry monitors, bladder scanners, Alaris pumps, and PCA pumps
• Implement infection prevention and fall prevention protocols and adhere to patient safety standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and case management
• Participate in orientation and ongoing professional development, including optional chemotherapy training
• Float to other MS Tele units as needed and document patient care accurately using the Epic charting system
