Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,540 – $1,650
• Location: Corpus Christi, TX 78404 (Texas MRI jobs / Corpus Christi healthcare)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 26, 2026)
• Shift: Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM (16-hour days)
• On-Call: Saturday & Sunday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Hours per Week: 32
• Setting: Hospital, Clinic, Outpatient (hospital MRI tech experience preferred)
• Employment Type: Travel, Full Time

Job Requirements (MRI Technologist Qualifications)

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent (Radiologic Technologist / MRI Tech)
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) certification from ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT required
• Current BLS (AHA only) required
• Basic computer proficiency; experience with PACS and image archiving preferred
• Minimum 1 year clinical MRI or radiology experience in a hospital or clinical setting (Level I or Level II hospital experience required)
• Familiarity with MRI safety, patient screening, and contrast protocols

Responsibilities (MRI Tech / Imaging Technologist)

• Perform routine and advanced MRI imaging procedures across a variety of exams and patient populations
• Provide thorough MRI screening for patients and staff to ensure MRI safety and compliance with facility protocols
• Operate MRI scanners, perform image post-processing, and ensure accurate image acquisition for diagnostic quality
• Scan, label, and store completed exams correctly in PACS; follow downtime procedures as needed
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and report malfunctions to biomedical engineering for follow-up
• Support other imaging technologists and facilitate efficient patient flow in busy hospital and outpatient settings
• Participate in continuing education, maintain certifications, and stay current with technical advances in MRI
• Adapt patient assessment and communication to accommodate unique needs and ensure high-quality patient care
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and reliability at all times to promote physician and patient satisfaction
• Promote team growth and contribute to a positive radiology department culture
