• Position: Travel Surgical Technologist / Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
• Location: Crestview, FL (32539) — Florida Panhandle, near Gulf Coast beaches
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,080 – $1,160
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 10-hour days, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with on-call responsibilities
• Hours per Week: 40
• Setting: Hospital Operating Room (OR), robotics and advanced surgery
• Employment Type: Travel / travel surgical technologist

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) in a hospital OR
• Current CST certification from a CAAHEP-accredited program or equivalent
• BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Robotics experience required; familiarity with robotic surgery instrumentation and setup
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operating room and perioperative environment

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and maintain sterile field, including sterile setup and instrument organization
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments, supplies, and fluids during procedures, including robotic cases
• Manage surgical equipment, troubleshoot instrumentation, and support robotics setup
• Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts; handle specimens and label per protocol to prevent retained items
• Collaborate with the perioperative team to promote patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes
• Adhere to sterile technique, infection control, and OR safety protocols
