• Estimated Weekly Pay (Travel Surgical Tech): $1,080 - $1,160
• Location: Crestview, FL (32539) — Emerald Coast access
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM; 4 shifts per week; includes on-call responsibilities
• Hours per Week: 40
• Setting: Hospital Operating Room (OR)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
• Current CST certification from a CAAHEP-accredited or equivalent program
• BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Hands-on experience with robotic surgery and advanced OR technology
• Ability to work on-site in the hospital OR and participate in on-call rotations

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room: sterile field setup, instrumentation, and surgical equipment arrangement
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, supplies, and fluids
• Manage and maintain the sterile field and OR instrumentation throughout cases
• Perform accurate sponge, instrument, and supply counts to prevent retained items
• Handle surgical specimens and ensure proper labeling and documentation
• Support robotic-assisted procedures and adapt to evolving OR technologies
