Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,690 – $1,820
- Location: Corpus Christi, TX 78404 — Texas radiology jobs / Corpus Christi healthcare
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 26, 2026)
- Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (8-hour evening shifts)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Weekend Call Rotation: Required
- Employment Type: Travel, On-Site (Radiology Technologist / Diagnostic Imaging)
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent
- Radiography (R) certification by ARRT required
- Texas State Licensure: MRT by TMB required
- BLS certification (AHA only) required
- Basic computer experience and familiarity with PACS and RIS systems
- At least 1 year of hospital experience preferred (CT/MRI experience preferred)
- Strong patient care, positioning, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures, including diagnostic radiography, CT, MRI support, DEXA, and vascular studies
- Operate imaging equipment and ensure high-quality image acquisition following department protocols
- Assist radiologists and collaborating clinicians; promote physician satisfaction through accurate, timely exams
- Manage patient flow and ensure effective patient assessment and care tailored to individual needs
- Scan, store, and archive completed exams correctly in PACS; follow downtime and recovery procedures as needed
- Troubleshoot basic equipment issues, report malfunctions, and coordinate appropriate follow-up with biomedical/engineering teams
- Participate in ongoing education, competency maintenance, safety practices, and quality assurance initiatives
- Demonstrate flexibility to work other shifts or at other campuses as necessary
