Job Details — Cath Lab Tech / Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (South Charleston, WV)

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,690 – $2,890
• Location: South Charleston, West Virginia (Charleston metro area) — zip 25309
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: Four 10-hour day shifts per week; includes up to 7 days of call per schedule, 1–2 late shifts, weekends and holidays in rotation
• Start / End Dates: April 6, 2026 — July 6, 2026
• Role Types: Cath Lab Tech, Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist, Cardiovascular Technologist, Radiologic Technologist (travel)

Minimum Qualifications & Certifications

• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab or Radiologic Technologist experience in a cardiac catheterization lab or interventional cardiology setting
• ARRT Certification (required)
• BLS Certification (required)
• Familiarity with Siemens cath lab equipment and software preferred
• Experience using EPIC for charting and documentation
• Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes; participates in rotational call coverage
• First-time travel technologists welcomed if strong procedural experience
• Must not live within 50 miles of the facility (travel assignment requirement)

Key Responsibilities — Cardiac Cath Lab Duties

• Assist physicians during diagnostic left and right heart catheterizations, PCI (percutaneous coronary intervention), IABP, and temporary pacemaker procedures
• Scrub, maintain sterile technique, and prepare interventional equipment and sterile fields for procedures
• Provide circulating support, sedation assistance, and accurate procedure documentation in EPIC
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment and assist with catheter and device handling (Siemens familiarity preferred)
• Support the cath lab team across cases in a fast-paced interventional cardiology environment
• Participate in departmental and hospital orientation and competency validation
