Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 11, 2026)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,000 – $3,160
• Setting: Operating Room / Perioperative unit (travel nurse role)
• Shift: 10-hour days, Monday–Friday (7:00am–5:30pm), 4 shifts per week
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-Call/Weekends: None
• Location: Peabody, MA 01960 — Massachusetts nursing jobs, Boston healthcare jobs, North Shore
• Floating: May float to main campus if needed

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license (required at time of submission)
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience (perioperative/surgical nurse)
• Experience across specialties: ortho/sports medicine, ophthalmology, gynecology, urology, general surgery, breast cases, and plastics
• Ability to scrub and circulate (perioperative scrub nurse and circulating nurse skills)
• Epic EMR experience required (clinical documentation proficiency)
• Must be able to float to main campus if needed
• Must be separated from BILH for 6+ months and in good standing to be considered
• No local candidates will be considered

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes as a perioperative/OR RN
• Scrub and circulate for a variety of surgical procedures as a surgical nurse
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary surgical team members
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR (perioperative charting)
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and infection control standards
• Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling and adapt to changing assignments in a travel nurse role
