Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,890 – $2,030
• Location: Philadelphia, PA 19104 (Philadelphia respiratory therapist jobs)
• Setting: Hospital – High Volume Trauma (critical care / trauma respiratory care)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; Every Other Weekend required (night shift RRT)
• On-Site Position: Required

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in a hospital setting
• High-volume trauma and critical care respiratory experience required
• Current RRT credential (NBRC RRT preferred)
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
• Strong clinical skills in ventilator management, airway support, and emergency response

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to patients across trauma and critical care units
• Respond rapidly to trauma activations and perform critical respiratory interventions
• Provide ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and airway support as indicated
• Perform respiratory assessments, arterial blood gas (ABG) interpretation, and treatment planning
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and quality standards
