• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 – $2,130
• Location: Mayfield Heights, OH 44124 (Cleveland, Northeast Ohio travel nursing)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (June 9, 2026 – September 8, 2026)
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 – 07:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse, On-Site

Required Qualifications – Med/Surg Tele RN

• Minimum 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry (tele) clinical experience prior to travel
• Active Ohio RN license (permanent or compact) – required for Ohio travel nursing roles
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications (active, not pending)
• One clinical reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in Med/Surg Tele specialty (required)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (telemetry monitoring experience required)
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
• Nicotine screening temporarily not required for nurses

Core Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit, including continuous cardiac monitoring and assessment of patient conditions
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and accurately
• Interpret cardiac rhythms, report changes, and collaborate with providers on telemetry-related interventions
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, case managers, respiratory therapy) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care, telemetry findings, and shift reports in the EMR
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medication plans, and discharge instructions
• Participate in unit orientation, competency validations, and ongoing professional development
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and quality standards
