• Facility: Acute Care Hospital, Level I Trauma Center, Magnet Hospital
• Start Date: April 27, 2026
• End Date: July 27, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 3x12-hour evening shifts (11:00 AM – 11:30 PM), Saturday through Monday
• Hours per Week: 36
• On-Call: Required as needed
• Guaranteed Hours: Up to 36 hours may be called off per 13-week assignment
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,100 – $2,250
• Scrub Color: Any solid color
• Charting: Cerner (experience with Cerner required)
• Parking: Free with permit

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience (Level I Trauma experience preferred)
• ARRT (MR) certification preferred (Magnetic Resonance Imaging certification)
• Experience with Cerner charting system required
• Proven MRI skills in Abdomen, Pelvis, Cardiovascular, Chest, Head/Neck, Musculoskeletal, Special Imaging Procedures, and Spine
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Illinois state license required (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Must arrive in Illinois 3 business days prior to compliance deadline for fingerprinting (if applicable)
• Ability to complete all compliance and onboarding requirements on time

• Floating within the hospital and to affiliate hospitals is required for all travelers

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans for a variety of patient populations, including trauma, inpatient, and outpatient cases
• Operate MRI equipment and ensure patient safety throughout the imaging process
• Demonstrate proficiency in advanced MRI techniques, including MRA, MRV, CINE, Diffusion, Gradient Echo Imaging, and more
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and utilize Cerner for charting
• Participate in on-call rotation as required
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures
• Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families
