- Facility: Acute Care Hospital, Level I Trauma Center, Magnet Hospital
- Start Date: April 27, 2026
- End Date: July 27, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 3x12-hour evening shifts (11:00 AM – 11:30 PM), Saturday through Monday
- Hours per Week: 36
- On-Call: Required as needed
- Guaranteed Hours: Up to 36 hours may be called off per 13-week assignment
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,100 – $2,250
- Scrub Color: Any solid color
- Charting: Cerner (experience with Cerner required)
- Parking: Free with permit
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience (Level I Trauma experience preferred)
- ARRT (MR) certification preferred (Magnetic Resonance Imaging certification)
- Experience with Cerner charting system required
- Proven MRI skills in Abdomen, Pelvis, Cardiovascular, Chest, Head/Neck, Musculoskeletal, Special Imaging Procedures, and Spine
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Illinois state license required (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Must arrive in Illinois 3 business days prior to compliance deadline for fingerprinting (if applicable)
- Ability to complete all compliance and onboarding requirements on time

- Floating within the hospital and to affiliate hospitals is required for all travelers
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI scans for a variety of patient populations, including trauma, inpatient, and outpatient cases
- Operate MRI equipment and ensure patient safety throughout the imaging process
- Demonstrate proficiency in advanced MRI techniques, including MRA, MRV, CINE, Diffusion, Gradient Echo Imaging, and more
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation and utilize Cerner for charting
- Participate in on-call rotation as required
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures
- Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families
