- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (8:30 AM – 7:00 PM, Mon–Fri, rotating day off)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Call Requirement: Minimum three primary and three backup weekday call shifts per contract
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,610 – $2,800 (competitive travel radiology pay)
Job Requirements – Radiologic Technologist / IR Tech
- Minimum 2 years as a Radiologic Technologist with recent Interventional Radiology (IR) experience
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical record (EPIC charting) required
- Proven ability to scrub and circulate during IR procedures; strong sterile technique
- Education from an accredited radiologic technology program (ACEN or CCNE)
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
- Two professional references required (including at least one manager/director or supervisor)
Responsibilities – Interventional Radiology Tech
- Perform and assist with a broad range of interventional radiology procedures: vascular access, IVC filter placement/removal, embolizations, TIPS, UFE, fistulagrams, PCN, PTC, drains, venous reconstruction, and stent placements
- Scrub and circulate during IR procedures while maintaining a sterile field and following infection control protocols
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment (including Siemens systems) and PACS for diagnostic imaging and interventional guidance
- Provide high-quality patient care across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations in a hospital setting
- Document procedures, contrast use, and patient information accurately using EPIC
- Participate in required call rotation and provide reliable clinical support during off-hours
- Collaborate with interventional radiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
