Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience
• Previous leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced emergency care environment

Responsibilities

• Serve as the onsite administrative representative for clinical and managerial functions during off-shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Provide leadership, consultation, and collaboration with department heads and multidisciplinary teams to support quality patient care
• Coordinate hospital-wide clinical operations including patient placement, clinical coordination, and risk management
• Oversee staffing decisions, patient/family relations, and the appropriate distribution of supplies and equipment
• Mentor, evaluate, and support nursing staff; act as resource and clinical leader in the ER
• Act as primary backup for front-line managers in their absence and support continuous improvement initiatives
