Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room (ER/ED) nursing experience
• Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license (required upon submission)
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification (required)
• ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications (required)
• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent (required for moderate complexity testing)
• Strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills for trauma, cardiac, pediatric, and behavioral health emergencies

Key Responsibilities (Emergency Department / ER Nurse)

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care for patients across the acuity spectrum: non-critical to emergent conditions
• Perform rapid assessment, triage, and stabilization for walk-in and transport-arriving patients
• Deliver emergent and urgent mental health care and collaborate on behavioral health interventions
• Respond to critical cardiac arrests, trauma activations, and pediatric emergencies
• Work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, EMS, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure excellent patient outcomes
• Document care accurately in the patient record and follow ED protocols for safety and quality
