Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute hospital setting as an X-Ray / Radiologic Technologist
• Active New Jersey Radiologic Technologist License (required)
• ARRT Certification (registered Technologist)
• BLS (AHA) Certification
• Ability to complete all orientation requirements (virtual and in-person) as scheduled
• Maximum of 3 days requested time off during contract

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures in an acute hospital environment, following hospital protocols and radiology best practices
• Ensure proper patient positioning, image quality, and radiation safety (ALARA principles)
• Operate digital radiography systems and work with PACS/EMR as required to maintain accurate imaging records
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the hospital care team to deliver excellent patient care in the radiology department
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to HIPAA and hospital documentation standards
• Participate in orientation activities, including virtual welcome meetings, HealthStream modules, in-person classes, and required POCT training
• Obtain hospital ID badge in person during orientation (photo submissions not permitted)
• Adhere to hospital dress code (black scrubs) and established clock-in procedures
