Travel Nurse Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1910 - $2010 (competitive travel nurse pay)
• Location: Clinton, IA 52732 — Clinton, Iowa travel nursing job
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 12, 2026 – July 11, 2026)
• Shift: 12 Hour Days (07:00 AM – 07:30 PM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel, On-Site (Travel RN / Travel Nurse role)
• Holiday Rotation: One summer, one winter, and one non-holiday
• Weekend Rotation: Every third weekend

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (Medical/Surgical) required — Registered Nurse (RN)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience (medical-surgical nurse, acute care)
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and participate in holiday/weekend rotations
• Up-to-date immunizations and health screenings (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, 2-Step PPD or IGRA)
• Successful completion of competency testing and skills checklist
• Background check and education verification required

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered, high-quality nursing care to adults on the Medical/Surgical unit
• Assess and monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Provide patient education and support to patients and families
• Participate in unit rotations, including holiday and weekend coverage
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and clinical standards
