Job Requirements
- Completion of required health screenings and immunizations (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, 2-Step PPD or IGRA)
- Successful completion of background check and competency testing
- License/certificate verification as required by Iowa state regulations for dental/orthodontic staff
- Physical/Health Statement and fit testing as required by the clinic
Responsibilities
- Assist orthodontists during clinical procedures and provide direct patient care
- Prepare and maintain orthodontic instruments, trays, and equipment following infection control protocols
- Support patients throughout their treatment journey, including taking impressions, intraoral photos, and x-rays as permitted
- Maintain accurate patient records, charting, and appointment documentation to support continuity of care
- Ensure clinic safety and compliance with OSHA and state dental regulations while contributing to an efficient, positive clinic environment
