• Position: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN) / Travel RN
• Assignment Length: 6 months (approx. 26 weeks)

• End Date: November 9, 2026
• Weekly Hours: 40 guaranteed hours
• Shift: 8 Hour Days (09:00 AM – 05:00 PM)
• Employment Type: Travel
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,120 – $3,290

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in Massachusetts (required for Travel RN and IR RN roles)
• Minimum 1 year recent clinical experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) or cardiovascular procedures
• Moderate sedation experience required (IR moderate sedation, conscious sedation)
• Experience supporting Cath Lab / IR procedures and working with multidisciplinary teams
• Experience working with bargaining units preferred
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Completion of required onboarding health screenings (MMR, TB test, health statement, fit test, etc.)
• Successful completion of facility orientation and skills checklist; background check and references required

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology and cardiovascular procedures (IR nurse duties)
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation; assess patient responses and recovery
• Support catheter-based procedures and assist in the Cath Lab/Interventional suite as needed
• Collaborate with interventional radiologists, cardiology teams, technologists, and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Perform pre- and post-procedure assessments, patient education, and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to facility protocols, and follow infection control standards
• Demonstrate flexibility, professionalism, and strong clinical judgment in a dynamic clinical environment
