• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570 - $1,650
• Location: Cleveland, OH 44113 (Cleveland healthcare jobs / Ohio travel nursing jobs)
• Unit: Geriatric Psych (behavioral health, geriatric psychiatric nurse)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 15, 2026 – August 14, 2026)
• Shift: Night Shift – 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00 – 07:30
• Hours per Week: 36

Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent behavioral health nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting (geriatric psych experience preferred)
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license in hand at time of submission (Registered Nurse licensure required)
• Active BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross
• Two recent references (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) from assignments in the past 12 months
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen within 12 months of start
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric nursing care and milieu management for geriatric psychiatric patients (medication administration, monitoring, and documentation)
• Perform comprehensive behavioral health assessments and timely, accurate EHR documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and support staff—to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment; utilize de-escalation techniques and safety protocols
• Participate in orientation, required annual modules, and travel nurse onboarding
