Job Details – MRI Technologist Travel Position

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,920 – $2,060
• Location: Charleston, SC 29425 (Charleston MRI jobs, Charleston healthcare)
• Facility Type: Teaching Hospital, Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 27, 2026)
• Shift: Night shift, 4x10-hour shifts (8:00 PM – 6:30 AM) — MRI technologist night shift role
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-call: Not required
• Holiday Coverage: Required if scheduled
• Charting System: Epic experience preferred
• Scrub Color: Teal top, black bottom
• Parking: Nights and weekends only; one-time $20 parking pass

Job Requirements – MRI Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience, preferably in a hospital/trauma setting
• Experience with Siemens MRI equipment required (Siemens MR systems)
• Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
• Certification: ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (Magnetic Resonance Imaging certification)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs and cover multiple units
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• First-time travel MRI technologists accepted

Responsibilities – MRI Technologist Duties

• Perform high-quality MRI scans for adult and geriatric patients in a hospital setting
• Operate and optimize Siemens MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images
• Prepare and administer contrast media safely and according to protocol
• Document procedures and patient information using the Epic charting system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Radiology, IV Teams, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
• Maintain MRI safety protocols, screening, and isolation precautions (PPE)
• Float to other units within scope as needed to support facility operations
• Participate in emergency response and preparedness activities (including hurricane season June–November)
• Adhere to facility scheduling, guaranteed hours, and patient care standards
