Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,380 – $2,550 (competitive travel pay)
• Location: West Columbia, SC (zip 29169) — travel radiology job in South Carolina
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (06:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
• On-Call: Required, including some weekends
• Start Date: April 27, 2026
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Facility Features: 3 IR suites, hybrid OR, interdisciplinary support (Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams)

Required Qualifications & Certifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist with Interventional Radiology experience required (2 years preferred)
• ARRT (R) certification required; VI credential preferred but not mandatory
• Current BLS certification
• SC state license or Compact Radiologic Technologist license required
• Proficiency with Philips Azurion and Siemens imaging platforms and Sonosite Ultrasound for arterial/venous access
• Experience with IR procedures: stroke thrombectomy, embolization, kyphoplasty, fistulagram, arteriogram/venogram with intervention, dialysis access, Y90, chest port placement, nephrostomy/PTC, g-tube placement, TIPS
• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Locals not accepted — candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• References and current certifications must be provided

Primary Responsibilities (Interventional Radiology Technologist / IR Tech)

• Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Operate and maintain Philips Azurion and Siemens imaging equipment and Sonosite Ultrasound
• Assist with hybrid OR cases, vascular interventions, and emergent IR procedures
• Float between IR suites as needed and support interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in on-call rotation, including weekends
• Maintain accurate documentation, radiation safety practices, and adhere to hospital protocols and quality standards
