Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1910 - $2010
• Location: Burn and Plastic Surgical Unit, Boston, MA (02114)
• Assignment Duration: 6 weeks (Start: 4/26/2026 – End: 6/6/2026)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: Rotating day/night shifts; every other weekend and every other holiday
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse, On-Site (Travel Nursing, Registered Nurse, Med/Surg RN)

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience (travel experience required)
• Experience in burn and plastic surgical units preferred (burn unit nurse, plastic surgery nurse)
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Completion of all required onboarding health and professional documentation (MMR, TB Test, Health Statement, Criminal Background Check, CORI, Resume, References, Skills Checklist, License/Certificate Verification, Fit Test, Respirator Medical Clearance, Medication Exam, Education Verification, SSN Trace, National Sex Offender Check, Exclusion Checks)

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Burn and Plastic Surgical Unit, including wound care and post-operative/surgical care
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (surgeons, advanced practice providers, PT/OT, wound care specialists) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor patient progress, document care accurately in the electronic health record, and communicate changes in condition
• Provide support, education, and discharge planning to patients and their families regarding wound care, pain management, and recovery expectations
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
