Travel Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) – Odessa, TX | ARRT (R), BLS | 13-week travel contract, 40 hrs/wk. Join a dynamic hospital radiology team serving a diverse patient population in West Texas.

Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,850 – $1,990
- Location: Odessa, TX 79761 — travel radiology jobs / Odessa healthcare jobs
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours per Week: 40 (full-time travel Radiologic Technologist)
- Shift Schedule: Mid (Tue–Thu, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM), Night (Fri–Sat, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM); call optional
- Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
- Note: Local candidates within 50 miles not accepted — open to travel Rad Techs only
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Radiologic Technologist experience required (radiology technologist, rad tech)
- ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Experience with Cerner charting system preferred (experience documenting imaging studies)
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
- Resume and requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with application
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of radiologic procedures including X-ray, CT, MRI and vascular imaging for inpatient and outpatient populations
- Operate bedside/portable X-ray equipment and perform C-arm procedures in surgical and interventional settings
- Provide imaging services across ED, ICU, NICU, outpatient, and acute care units
- Ensure radiation safety, quality imaging protocols and infection prevention practices are followed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Radiology, Rapid Response and clinical staff to deliver timely patient care
- Document imaging exams and maintain accurate records (Cerner experience preferred)
- Care for patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics, with professionalism and patient-centered communication
