• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Location: Spokane Valley, WA (zip 99216) — travel nurse assignment
• Setting: 123-bed hospital, Level 3 Trauma Center; 21-bed Emergency Department
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 5/4/2026 – End: 8/1/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Hours per Week: 36 (Guaranteed)
• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
• Scrub Color: Any color, professional attire
• Position Type: Travel Nurse – Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS required
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) required
• CPI or MOAB and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Proficiency with TNK administration, conscious sedation, chest tubes, and central line management
• Open to first-time travel nurses / travel RN candidates

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population including geriatric, chest pain, stroke, psychiatric, respiratory, abdominal pain, and pediatric cases (approximately 15% pediatric)
• Perform advanced ER procedures: TNK administration, conscious sedation, chest tube care/placement support, and central line management
• Document and manage patient care using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary trauma team in a fast-paced Level 3 trauma center
• Participate in scheduled weekend rotations and maintain professional standards consistent with facility policies
