• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,990 - $2,140
• Location: Sierra Vista, AZ 85635
• Role: Travel SLP / Speech-Language Pathologist – Hospital / Acute Rehab Unit (ARU)
• Duration: 13 weeks (April 5, 2026 – July 5, 2026)
• Shift: 8-hour days (07:30 – 16:00), rotating weekend coverage
• Hours per Week: 40 (Weekly guaranteed hours: 32)
• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric (acute care and inpatient rehab)
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): Cerner, NetHealth

Required Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license per Arizona state requirements (or eligible)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital, acute rehab, or inpatient setting (hospital SLP experience preferred)
• Strong time management, flexibility, and teamwork skills for fast-paced acute care
• Adaptable and willing to learn; ability to float between inpatient and ARU units as needed
• Professional dress: Any color scrubs or business casual (slacks and polo); t-shirts and sweatshirts not permitted

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat adult and geriatric patients with a wide variety of diagnoses, including communication and swallowing (dysphagia) disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans and document patient progress in Cerner and NetHealth EHR systems
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehab team (PT, OT, nursing, physicians) to optimize patient outcomes
• Provide patient and family education on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques
• Participate in rotating weekend coverage and maintain flexibility for unit needs
• Maintain a positive, adaptable attitude and contribute to a supportive team environment
